Happy People Manager (Office Support) & Passionate Foodie!

📍 Amsterdam – Houthavens | Parttime | on-site | Preferred start date: asap

ℹ️ About the role

Picture this: it's Monday morning. The coffee smells good, the office looks fresh, meeting rooms are ready, the plants are happy, and colleagues walk in smiling. You helped make that happen.

We’re looking for a Happy People Manager (Office Support) who genuinely enjoys food, hospitality, and making people feel at home. You might love cooking or baking yourself, or you might be great at finding the right suppliers or catering partner to make sure there’s a good lunch every day.

You’ll often be the first person colleagues and visitors see when they walk into the office. You’re someone who enjoys creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fits our positive company culture. You also like keeping things organized behind the scenes, taking care of practical stuff, and noticing the small details that make a difference. You’ll work closely with our Sustainability Lead / Office Manager and will quickly become a familiar and important face around the office.

🙋Who are you?

Food is your love language. You might be the person who bakes something just because it’s Tuesday, knows what groceries are needed for a good lunch or afternoon snack, or has strong opinions about the best coffee. You’re someone who likes to get things done, brings positive energy, and enjoys making people feel welcome. You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves and taking care of whatever needs to be done. From orange tompouce pastries on King’s Day to something thoughtful for Valentine’s Day: you enjoy turning small moments into something special.

✅ You will:

  • Take ownership of our daily lunch, snacks, and drinks. Whether that means cooking yourself, doing the groceries, or finding a great catering partner;
  • Welcome visitors and support colleagues during meetings, making sure everything is taken care of; from coffee and snacks to setting up the meeting room;
  • Handle day-to-day office and facility tasks: meeting room setup, keeping the office organized, and generally making sure everything runs smoothly;
  • Arrange hotels and flights for colleagues and clients;
  • Proactively initiate fun ideas, celebrations, and little surprises for the team around all kinds of themes (Halloween, Christmas, Valentinel; you name it, it's possible!).

🔍 Who we are looking for:

  • You are thoughtful, hands-on, welcoming, and proactive;
  • You like to make people happy with food and drinks;
  • You get energy from a clean and organized office environment;
  • You live in or near Amsterdam;
  • You are available to work at least 3 (half)days per week at the office (half days are possible for example from 09:00 AM – 3:00 PM);
  • You speak Dutch and/or English;
  • Salary range based on experience: € 3.000 - € 4.000, based on 40 hours per week.
  • Experience in hospitality or facilities (such as Horeca/Catering) is a big plus.

🔑 Key Competencies:

1. Proactive & Hands-on

Takes initiative, anticipates needs, and follows through to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

2. Hospitality & Customer Focus

Creates a welcoming environment and consistently delivers a positive experience for colleagues and visitors.

3. Organization & Attention to Detail

Manages multiple tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy and ensuring nothing is overlooked.

4. Communication & Collaboration

Builds positive relationships and communicates clearly with colleagues, suppliers, and external partners.

5. Flexibility & Problem

Solving Adapts easily to changing priorities and finds practical solutions to everyday operational challenges.
