Happy People Manager (Office Support)
📍 Amsterdam – Houthavens | 20 - 40 hours per week
About the role
Picture this:
it’s Monday morning. The coffee smells good, the office looks fresh, meeting rooms are ready, plants are happy, and colleagues walk in smiling. You helped make that happen.
We’re looking for a Happy People Manager (Office Support) to keep our office running smoothly every day and someone who can support our current Sustainability Lead / Office Manager. Someone who enjoys creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in line with our positive company culture, loves organizing things behind the scenes, and notices the details that make a difference.
You’re someone who likes to get things done, brings positive energy, and enjoys making people feel at home. From orange tompouce pastries on King’s Day to something thoughtful for Valentine’s Day: you enjoy turning small moments into something special.
Your focus areas
You’ll often be the first person colleagues and visitors see when they walk into the office. You make sure the space feels welcoming, organized, and well taken care of.
You will:
- support daily office and facility tasks, such as lunch preparation, meeting setup, and keeping the office organized;
- help arrange hotels and flights for colleagues and clients;
- stay in contact with suppliers and our external IT support team when needed;
- think along about fun ideas, celebrations, and little surprises for the team.
Who we are looking for
- You are hands-on, welcoming, and proactive;
- You get energy from a clean and organized office environment;
- You live in or near Amsterdam;
- You are available to work at least 4 (half)days per week at the office (half days are possible for example from 09:00 AM– 2:00 PM);
- You speak Dutch and/or English;
- Experience as a personal assistent and/or in hospitality or facilities is a big plus.
